Revised Application submitted to City
On July 7th, Duncan Golf submitted an amended application for Zoning Map Amendment LDC25-00061 to re-zone only the 12.5 acres specified in its conceptual “hotel and spa” plan from Parks Greenways Open Space (PGOS) to Specific Plan District (SPD).The remaining 142.5 acres of the golf course remain PGOS. This is consistent with the information presented at the neighborhood meeting hosted by the applicant on July 8th. The commercial development of a 100 room, 55ft (4 story) “hotel and spa” remains the same.
As confirmed by the City, the Planning Commission will review the revised application in early September.
Save Lakeridge is reviewing the application in detail and will be updating “Latest Updates” and the “FAQ” on this website once such a review has been completed.
Thank you for your support to encourage Duncan Golf to reconsider its initial proposal to re-zone all 155 acres from Parks Greenways Open Space (PGOS) to Specific Plan District (SPD). While this amendment is going in the right direction, we must continue to request the Planning Commission and City Council not let Duncan Golf queue up a repeat of the Lakeridge Tennis Club debacle!
