NAB mtg at City Hall- August 19th- Lets all be there!
Thank you everyone for joining our 2nd Save Lakeridge Community meeting at Bartley Ranch. We were pleased to have 140 community members in attendance and it is clear our passion to protect our community remains strong!
At the meeting, we covered a lot of detailed information about Duncan Golf’s revised application for his conceptual 100 room, 55 foot hotel and spa. It is imperative we all continue to have our voices heard! Please email, write and call City Council and the Planning Commissioners about what concerns you about the revised proposal. As a reminder, you can visit the FAQ page of the www.savelakeridge.com website to learn about the revised application. To download the revised application, please visit the Background page of the www.savelakeridge.com website or click here.
The next opportunity to have our voices heard will be at the August 19th NAB (Neighborhood Advisory Meeting). Duncan and his team of professionals will be at the NAB and present on their conceptual hotel and spa proposal.
The NAB will be held at City Hall to ensure ample space and will commence at 5:30PM, so plan on getting there early to ensure you get inside Council Chambers. The address is One East 1st street, Reno.
For those that have not participated in a NAB meeting:
Key objectives for NAB meetings:
Improve communication between Reno citizens, City staff, and City Council Members.
Provide citizens the opportunity for early engagement on important community issues.
Create a venue for citizens to review and provide feedback on certain development projects.
