We’re Ready for Tomorrow — Here’s What Save Lakeridge Has Achieved
Tomorrow is the day.
The moment we’ve been preparing for is finally here—and your presence is critical.
Rally at City Hall — 4–6 PM
Be there. Be seen. Be heard.
Signs will be provided.
Planning Commission Meeting — 6 PM
Pack the City Council Chambers.
Arrive early to give your name to the City Clerk if you plan to make public comment.
What We’ve Achieved
Our volunteers have worked around the clock:
Planning Commissioners meet with a Save Lakeridge representative or our legal counsel—via in-person meeting, Zoom, or phone call.
Commissioners were grateful we reached out and highly engaged with the legal analysis from John Marshall, our legal counsel.
Yesterday we emailed Commissioners, the City Clerk, and Assistant City Planner Leah Piccotti a comprehensive written analysis of:
Duncan Golf’s application
The staff report recommending approval of LDC25-00061
We also delivered:
A cover letter from Save Lakeridge
300+ petition signatures from our community
Where Your Donations Have Gone
Community contributions funded:
John Marshall’s consultation with members of Save Lakeridge, legal research and written analysis.
His multiple in-person meetings with the City Manager, Planning Manager, Assistant Development Services Director, Associate Planner, and City Attorneys
Why Written Analysis Was Critical
The opposition legal counsel is not given equal speaking time at the dais compared to the applicant’s legal counsel. This is why we submitted our full written arguments two days ahead of the meeting—to ensure every Commissioner had the facts.
Now We Need You
Please spread the word.
Please show up.
Tomorrow is the day our entire community must stand together.
